We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new team leader in Hok, Alexander Storck.
Production is in safe hands.
Alexander was previously team leader at the press department in Skillingaryd and has now had the chance to test his wings at the larger unit up in Hok.

Oxidizing cutting
Oxidation cutting is a thermal cutting method used to cut metal, mainly non-alloy and low-alloy steel. The method is based on a chemical reaction where the material is heated to ignition temperature and then reacts with a pure oxygen jet. The result is an efficient cutting process that is particularly suitable for coarser materials and larger steel structures.
Despite its long history, oxidation cutting remains an important method in engineering, steel construction, repair, dismantling and heavy manufacturing. It is appreciated for its simplicity, its capacity to handle thick materials and its relatively low equipment cost.
